The Three Jacks

One thing about Jack Russell’s is they seem to think they are huge!  They have been referred to as “a big dog in a little body.”  Petey is no exception – he is a lot of dog, more than what most people want, even though he only stands 14 1/2 inches at the withers.  Yesterday we went to the beach and on a walk with some Great Danes, and as the photo’s show, the little guy’s attitude was probably bigger than the Danes!

Not a sport for The Three Jacks!

I spent last Saturday at Punderson State Park, in Newbury, Ohio watching the Sled Dogs!  The race was put on by The Siberian Huskey Club of Greater Cleveland. Had to bundle up like I was going to the arctic, but it was well worth it.  When dogs are doing what they were bred to do, you can see and hear their happiness!  So whether its, herding, go to ground, hunting, retrieving or sled dog racing – a working dog is a happy dog!!!
